PGL Residential 2025
1st - 4th June 2025
Day 1
Year 6 set off at 10.30am - all very excited for their adventure. We arrived after a quick hour and half journey.
As the children saw the building there was lots of excitement on the coach.
We were met by two PGL instructors who led us to our accommodation.
All the children were happy with their room choices and settled quickly (setting up their beds).
Lunchtime !
After lunch we had a wander around site - we are currently the only ones on site until tomorrow!
The children are now off to their first activities, Jacob's Ladder and Challenge.
Dinner was a hit and everyone had some delicious food :)
Our evening activity was PGL games
We finished the evening with celebrating Noah's birthday - everyone enjoyed some cake!
Day 2
Good morning! The children slept well and were woken up with 'Walking on Sunshine'
The children have canoeing, orienteering, Archery, Abseiling and tonight will be their D - I - S- C - O

Day 3
Good morning from a sunny but windy Bawdsey Manor. The disco dancing tired all the children who were all asleep by 10.30pm.
They were woken up by Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give you up - requested by year 6.
Today's activities are: fencing, climbing, problem solving, giant swing and finally a campfire in the evening.
The children enjoyed hearing your messages the last few days ( we do read them out!)

The residential team would just like to say how proud we are of all of these amazing children. They have taken this adventure in their stride and many have faced their fears. They have represented LRPS with pride and we hope they have made memories that they keep forever.
